So it’s been a LONG time since we’ve had any big updates here on TheMightyOthers.com. We are super happy to announce that on April 15th we’ll be releasing our new EP that we recorded and produced ourselves. It was a labor of love, that is finally ready for consumption. Hello hello! Just posted some new shows in the show section, but I’ll also just put a note here. August 18th we’ll be setting up right on the lanes at Memory Lanes bowling alley. You can throw “rocks” at us! haha. This will probably be our last show until Nov. 3rd at The Amsterdam due to Joe having major knee surgery and not being able to pound on the skins while he’s recuperating. Try and make it out and challenge us to a bowl off!
Hey there! So I didn’t win the contest to co-host Elvis Week, but I got offered a pretty sweet gig by Elvis Presley Enterprises! I’ll be performing Wednesday Aug. 15th at The Graceland Main Stage in Memphis, Tn. While I’m there I’m of course going to try and find other stuff to perform at, but if nothing else this is going to be an awesome experience! Thanks so much for your help in securing this. Without your votes, I probably wouldn’t have gotten the gig!
So on a whim, I made a video to submit for a chance to co-host Elvis Week 2012 in Memphis, Tn. Not expecting anything to happen because I NEVER get lucky with this type of stuff, I got selected as a finalist! I couldnt’ believe it. Crazy enough, right. Well yesterday they released the polls so far, and I was in the lead! Again I couldn’t believe it. This would be soooooo awesome, and such a huge honor. Not to mention insanely fun to get the opportunity to fly to Memphis to do this. If you’d like to watch my vid, I posed it below for your viewing pleasure.
